Kitchen In is a trusted name for kitchen joinery in New Plymouth, creating beautiful kitchens and custom cabinetry throughout the home. Started in 2007, Kitchen In is owned and run by local cabinet maker Rob Hamilton. Rob learned his trade building the interior joinery for luxury super yachts. Now he brings superyacht quality workmanship and skills to the homes of New Plymouth. Our clients include home owners, builders and architects for both new build and renovation projects. We are friendly and approachable, and we’re happy to discuss your project whatever the stage you’re at. Working with Kitchen In
Our process begins with designing your kitchen in our 3D modelling program. The model allows you to visualise the space and see how your colour and finish choices work together. Rob has extensive product knowledge and will make recommendations on finishes and materials to ensure your kitchen matches your needs and budget.
Once the design is finalised we manufacture your joinery in our Saltash St workshop including fitting all accessories. Any appliances ordered through us are checked in the workshop for fit.
When the joinery is complete we fully assemble the kitchen in our workshop. At this time the client comes in for a final inspection. This allows us to address any last minute requests or changes while the cabinets are still in the workshop.
Finally we deliver the kitchen to your home and install the cabinetry and bench top. If you need assistance with other trades, we can provide some contacts we have successfully worked with in the past.
Supply
For kitchen and laundry projects we can supply appliances, bench tops, hardware and extra finishing touches. We have supplier agreements with most appliance brands, including Fisher and Paykel, which allow us to supply appliances with your new kitchen at prices that are typically better than you can get in retail stores.
